For utilization and disemination by WASH sector partners, UNICEF and WHO have already produced IEC materials and the same has been approved by the Ministry of Health for hygiene promotion in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak. PADO with revision as per updated SoPs printed the same material for hygiene promotion activities to ensure the behaviors are promoted to address hygiene needs. Leaflets were placed inside the hygiene kit bag for distribution while the posters and banners were displayed at different public spaces such as workplaces, marketplaces, places of worship, public transport, etc. to promote the appropriate behaviors. This activity is designed by PADO in consultation with Unicef, KP Government and other sector partners. This activity is aligned with global guidance by WHO and others, national guidance as well as interventions by other actors to avoid mixed messaging and confusion.
