PADO with the support of CWW RF was providing emergency WASH services to all IDP families (registered and un-registered) residing in Jalozai Camp, however due to protracted nature of the emergency, continuous efforts were required to safeguard both the vulnerable registered and unregistered families living in camp, the displaced families were lacking warm clothing particularly for the most vulnerable and have no means to save themselves from cold weather, and in majority of cases, displaced families in Jalozai Camp were without key essential items. With start of winter season, families residing inside Jalozai Camp needed blankets and warm clothing and urgent action were required to minimize the human suffering by distributing winterization kits.
Peace and Development Organization (PADO) with the support of CWW-RF reached 435 displaced families (registered and unregistered) living inside Jalozai camp (2720 individuals) through provision of winterization kits to protect them from severe winter conditions. Through distribution of winter kits the displaced families were able to prepare themselves for approaching winter season.
