The “Economic Empowerment of Vulnerable Households through Livestock Provision” project provides a pathway to self-reliance. PADO works closely with community leaders to identify the most eligible households, focusing on widows and female-headed households in rural districts.

  • Provision of dairy cows or goats based on local ecological conditions.
  • Distribution of poultry kits and fodder to ensure immediate start-up support.
  • Comprehensive training in animal management, shed construction, and veterinary first aid.
  • Linkages with local dairy markets to ensure sustainable income generation.

Verification & Quality Assurance

All outputs under this project were monitored via third-party post-distribution monitoring (PDM) and biometric registration in compliance with Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) benchmarks.
