Intervention Narrative & Methodology

Detailed operational report and beneficiary engagement

The Food Security Support Project is one of PADO’s flagship humanitarian interventions, supporting vulnerable households through the provision of emergency food assistance in food-insecure and disaster-affected districts. Implemented in partnership with KSrelief, the project strengthens household food security while promoting dignity, transparency, and community participation throughout implementation.

Key Outputs and Activities

  • Distribution of 40,000 high-quality food packages containing essential nutritional items.
  • Coverage spanning multiple remote districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).
  • Collaboration with local government administrations and community committees to ensure transparent targeting of widows, orphans, and flood-affected households.
  • Standardized feedback mechanisms to collect beneficiary inputs and maintain strict accountability standards.

Verification & Quality Assurance

All outputs under this project were monitored via third-party post-distribution monitoring (PDM) and biometric registration in compliance with Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) benchmarks.
